The Creep Machine has been given the opportunity to curate a show at the Alternative Cafe in Monterey, CA. The show will open on March 6th and last until April 13th. The show will feature work inspired by the idea of "The End", whether it's the end of everything, mankind, the world, Or maybe just the end of an individual. The interpretation seems to be very different from artist to artist. Here is the full list of artists that will be in the show: 8pussy,Alex Kuno, Andy B. Clarkson, Beth Bojarski, Chet Zar, Dan Harding, Dave Macdowell, Dean McDowell, E. Gauger, Ego, Gene Guynn, Jacqueline Gallagher, John Cebollero, Joshua G, Kelly Vivanco, Ken Garduno, Luke Kopycinski, Matt Dangler,Michael Ryan, Michael Shapcott, Paul Chatem, R.M. Hanson, Sandi Calistro, Tom Haubrick & Whitney Lenox I will post some images from the show soon, and am also creating a preview page if anyone is interested. endartshow.blogspot.com/

I noticed this show a week or two ago and am definitely looking forward to what these artists come up with. I'd absolutely love to see the preview page when it's up!

Congrats indeed! Please post some pics of the show all hung and laid out, very curious to see the spread of the space. I know Justin from Shooting Gallery is curating something here later this year too and we're discussing possibly doing a curated show there in 2010 too - hope this goes off killer for you, awesome lineup!

Thanks. From what I have been told, and seen in some pics, the layout of the gallery portion is pretty big. I have 29 or 35 pieces in the show, a few of them are pretty big and they think it will all fit in quite well. I will be getting pictures of the reception and will post them here. I hope the show goes well, it might open the door for me to curate a few more shows. Curating isn't something I want to do full time, but it is fun. I have a little book filled with show ideas and I would at least like to be able to see a few more of them happen.

I purchased the Andy B Clarkson piece. I think he is really talented and full of potential.
I know this is a hard time for early career stage artists (and galleries) so I am trying to support them whenever I can. By the way, the gallery staff was very professional and pleasant to work with.
I wish I had seen the Dean McDowell piece earlier so I could have grabbed it. Great piece!

His works in person look beautiful, he really knows how to layer and work the acrylics. I'll take some close up shots of his painting, all of them really.
