my alma mater, sheridan ITAL, always puts together an awesome year-end show for their graduates. there is always a lot of commitment and passion that is put into each show, from both the graduating class and the faculty. this year, because of the unfortunate trends of the economy, a lot of the funding that normally goes into making the show happen has been cut; this includes a major sponsor/supporter who has helped to make incredible graduation catalogues in the past. in an effort to raise money and make up these losses, sheridan's illustration students alumni and teachers are putting on a fundraising campaign by donating works to be sold: the birds and the bees show at jerome jenner gallery will prove to be a very exciting and hopeful event for the cause. this year's graduating class is full of talent and promise, (including yuta onoda, nimit malavia, simon kim) if you are in a position to help somehow, please take a look at some of the work that will be available. if i'm not mistaken, most, if not all the work is capped at $500, mine included. my contribution for the show: thanks for reading and for supporting young artists! *
