So this hasn't been released yet?
It says it was released in February and is Sold Out according to PP's website.
Perhaps it simply indicates such as a result of the Kindling exhibit being held from Jan into Feb, regardless of them actually being produced and ready to distribute at that time, as there's no way with such a small edition these were ever intended to be publicly available and I'm sure the edition was already allocated.
As per usual, however, PP suspiciously produced WAY more proofs than the conventional edition should incorporate - this time with the proofs humorously totaling more than the actual edition itself - and one can "Inquire About Proofs" with the trademarked hefty PP upcharge.
I'd be interested to find out what they want for their proofs...as well as what they originally retailed for.

Ah you may be right. A recent post on their blog makes it sound like it was something new but it does say sold out.

I don't even think that the prints were openly sold it sounds like a few went to the museum a whole bunch are going to the totoro project. I wonder when this will happen? I know there are a few artist on this board who have worked with totoro project who may be able to find out for us, or maybe levine can give us a heads up. The original can be seen at the totoro project website www.totoroforestproject.org/

Labeling what doing something positive and making prints for a museum collection and for charity nobody is critizing them for it..
....but it does sound like you know some info...did the print go into the hands of certain collectors that knew PP was doing a new print? Who would have leaked that JJ was doing a new print with PP?
I did actually contact brad out curiosity from what Low Pro said... I personally do not collect prints unless they are gifted to me this is the first one I would consider since the original was digital with a few hand alterations and also the low number....but guess what no answer yet from him.... that is why I asked some other board members that may know him if they could inquire....
But Retro since it sounds like you are on first name basis with brad, can you get me an answer concerning proofs.
Thanks

from the comments section by eric one of the blog writers for pressure prints....
the edition was completed a few months ago as more of a contract job and the 10 prints were sent to James, the Pixar show/auction, and the Asian Art Museum--unfortunately none of regular edition is or was ever available for public consumption. I know Brad does have a few printer's proofs that he's been getting alot of inquiries about and that he's wavering over whether to let go of them or not; shoot him an email at brad@pressureprinting.com to ask him about them.
