Yes, always been interested in the contrast of nature and the urban environment. Looking forward to the show tonight, I might need to get something.

All my favorites were gone by the time I got there...oh well. Seems like they were selling real well though. I'd say at least half were sold. The paintings were real nice, but I thought the drawings really stood out.

i picked up a small piece - i'm new to his work (i remember Angie picked one up awhile ago and that was my first exposure). I love his drawings on wood - so lovely, so simple. Here's mine:

Ah, so you guys got all the ones I wanted, oh well, at least they are going to people who will like them. Now I'm struggling with getting one of the drawings still available, but not sure because it wasn't my first or second choice. Should I?

I'm still tempted to get more... I like the hermit crab, cat in spaceship, and the rolly polly throwing off spores. I've bought 2nd or 3rd choice before and have been happy... Really depends if you are buying just to buy or you really like it.

Yup, i'll hold off, I'll save my money for first or second choices (there will be plenty at other shows I am sure). Anyway, there was something about the drawings that seemed so much more natural. With paintings there is always room for error, and thing you are unhappy with can be fixed. The drawings I think display his ability better, and show his ideas very simply.
