I’ve enjoyed Matt Haber’s work for a while now and have frequently been on the verge of buying one of his pieces. He has a show opening this week at The BLDG in Kentucky, which I’m looking forward to seeing the pieces from. i like his colour palette and his really clean folk art inspired style, and used to assist Takashi Murakami. www.mrhaber.net/bldgrefuge.com/anyone else enjoy or own any of his work?

I like this too. Vintage-modern feel. Really enjoy looking at them, but while there's style, I'm not hearing a voice. Interested in what resonates with you about this work.

I think for me, his work evokes memories of the story books my grandparents used to read me as a child. The illustrative qualities bring forth images of eastern European picturebooks. Plus I enjoy the cleanliness of his work, and I think there issomething special about the colour palette he uses...

The guy who used to curate there was so money...first shows for Luke Chueh, Audrey Kawasaki and a bunch more. Spent a few years tracking Haber down but we will see him here next year. Really great paintings...actually had a few at Beyond Eden fair last year with us...
