Digital Ink Print is giclee. The Micro Portfolio 3 Bunnies and Bees - Special Edition was a similar item. It contained 14 prints, was an edition of 100 and cost $500. When I first saw $4750 I thought it might be a typo, maybe $750? Wishful thinking.

ryden is definitely upper tier, but that 4750 price is crazy. he's outpricing his market with that, but it will probably sell out in a snap anyway.

Well the portfolio is very much like the spectaculum carnis portfolio that was sold back in 1998 for the meat show, in fact its the exact one with the diffrent paintings and the fact that the colopon and all the prints are signed and numbered, which i belive is the reason its more. i thinkthe bunnies and bees one wasnt that much more because it wasnt really a hand made box and the prints were not glicees
but yeah $4750 is pretty steep

The portfolio is way overpriced, but I am sure this will sell out fast. I am not too excited about the images from this show either, so it is an easy decision not going into debt for this. I'll go for the book, as I can still justify that purchase. At least it has a print, unlike the Tree Show ltd. ed. where I am still kicking myself for buying this at the original price when it came out.
I also find it nice that they were trying to create a Latin word for Snow Yak (pretty sure they did not have one in good ol' Rome).

It's up! edit: Got mine, but I think they should reconsider their shipping charges to international buyers (like other sellers out there as well). 81$ for shipping the book is insane (although I must admit they always do a very nice packing job), and I realized the shipping charges the second I hit the "submit order" button, otherwise I'd probably thought this over (the boyfriend just said I wouldn't, and I am afraid he's right )

I'm going to pass on the book because I already have the $28 one.

I'm going to pass on the book because I already have the $28 one. yeah same here, its not as good as the fushigi or the tree show one was, yeah the tree show did not have a print but was much nicer IMHO that and the print itself is well meh. The tree show special edition, i pretty much gave away most of the stuff aside from the cards and the pin. i had the pennent and the pencil from before. The book and the case was what i cared about the most as it was signed and i missed my chance to go to the signing. if the price on the print portfolio was cheaper id go for it, i have a feeling it will be up for quite some time like the tree show special edition as will the snow yak show one.
