Hope your bike gets well soon.

(ok i realize not everyone agrees with me on this) If you've never read it - and have any interest - check out Born to Run by Christopher McDougall. It will change the way you think about running.

I picked up running last year, and I love it, although I have to force myself everytime to go outside (been a couch potato for too long). When I am in the park (beautiful old imperial park of Schönbrunn with lots of trees, tame squirrels and ducks) I really enjoy running together with my boyfriend. But I usually run only for around 30 minutes, at a low pace. I think most people overdo it in the beginning, and then it is no fun. Also the nice surroundings really help, as I could not imagine running in the streets.

epi, I also have to agree with Born to Run as a great book, I purchased it a year ago for my father and he loved it, then I just purchased a copy two weeks ago for me. Amazing story.
However I have to disagree with running in general it sucks, that is why I never do anything would cause me to get chased. Either way suck or not im off to the park now to run.
