1. Nice first post. 2. As a collector I dont actually give a shit if a piece is sure to shoot up in value and usually find people who approach me that way to be total drains on art culture. I collect what I love and I intend to keep what I collect so talking about value to me is a huge turn off. Art is like friendship to me its value is in the experience. 3. Considering some of the absolutely amazing Parla pieces that have been posted on this board I was pretty let down with these. 4. If you are just going to copy and paste some stuff at least clean up the text issues.

i always roll my eyes at people that buy art as an "investment" (comment not directed at OP). it's a bit of a fools errand. i always cringe when people refer to their collections as their retirement fund or their kids college fund. it seems to me that buying art is kind of like buying a new car. as soon as it leaves the gallery (or dealer lot), it pretty much drops about a third in value. a very small fraction may actually increase in value over the years. the vast majority will not. please pardon my rant. apologies for the hijack!

Here for sale are a set of collaborative works by world renown artists: These are both absolutely stunning works. The success of these two artist and the rarity of this collaboration, make these a very sought after set that is sure to shoot up in value. Beautiful works, unfortunate comments...

David Ellis and Jose Parla are such rare talents, but these are actually weak in comparison with each respective artist's body of work.
