+1 on the Vernus print.
Anyone close to Martin know what happened to his prints that were available in his webstore? Looks like he has a new website but no store. I was planning on snagging one or two later on. I've emailed a couple times but no reply.

Cheers to the Artchival community! I'm fairly new here and this piece just arrived today. I wanted to chime in as I think it may be a victim of its packing. Please take my input with a grain of salt, and don't be afraid to tell me I'm over-analyzing this, but...
My print also has some visible flaws. Outer packing was a stiff c'board envelope mailer which felt pretty sturdy and didn't appear damaged. Inner packing consisted of a 2-piece corrugate sandwich (taco?), with the print securely wrapped in tissue paper which was taped to the buns' edges (shell?) for stability. The ruffles in the corrugate actually got transposed onto the back of my print during shipment. I thought water damage initially, but didn't see any water stains and I can match the ruffle pattern to the corrugate.
I'm hoping those fade out over time if I store it flat beneath a couple of the wife's Cosmo's...The bottom right corner also has a small crease...probably nothing that won't frame out and difficult to reveal in pics, but the ruffling on the paper can be seen with minimal inspection.
If anyone else had similar results, I'm curious to what degree. I don't normally get smaller prints; they seem to be more prone to shipping damage. Thx for any input.

I was very worried about shipping a smaller print, and was told it was too small to use a tube which was my original feeling. I stated this on Expresso Beans for those that received damaged prints as well:
"I had sent a test print out a while back with this method and it seemed fine. However I should have paid less attention to what I have seen others do, and more attention to what the buyers appreciate shops do. It was an amateur mistake, and not one I will make again.
I am currently working on a few options to fix this situation for those who have received damaged prints, one of which is of course a refund. For those who have received damaged prints, please e-mail me directly so that I know who needs to be taken care of.
I had expected to make a mistake or two while this new shop got started, but the fact that it was this print really hurts."

It is worth noting that my replacement came in, and I felt that the correspondence from Josh was very good throughout the whole process. And, most importantly, the packing/shipping was well executed and the new print looks fantastic!
