Cannot say anything bad about Debbie personally, as I purchased a framed Lola print a long time ago from her (friendly communicaton, excellent packaging), but the prices she asks for pieces on the secondary market are pure craziness. 25k for what I think is the only ugly piece Audrey Kawasaki has ever done (I love Audrey, you know that): edit: I did not mean to hijack the thread, sorry.

Then she sold 8 of those pieces to somebody else who is now reselling or it could be the IP of the guy that she works with... but the prices are exactly the same of what she quoted me in the past (3 years ago) for some of the pieces and she also use to own/run a movie poster and animation art thing of sorts... I personally have no problem with Debbie, since I have never bought from her and know that the prices are a little high, but would rather it be upfront and not behind a shell...

Debi is a little expensive but she is fair and is not a cheat.... I've personally dealt with her for the past 10 years.... Debi is a good person and is good for the art industry. Kent

Nothing bad to say about Debbie or L'imagerie Her prices are high, but you are buying from a reputable source and someone who has been repping and selling this sort of work for decades.

The original post was by animationgeek, maybe he works for Debi. She is upfront and honest and has nothing to hide that would cause her to make a new user name under a new IP address. I never understand why Debi gets bashed on by some people here. If you don't like her prices don't buy from her, it's that simple.

I did not want to give the wrong impression, I was actually considering buying one of the pieces on her site (not the Audrey piece though ), it seems just weird to me that she asks prices that are in some cases twice the current market value - which makes me believe she is not that much interested in selling them, as some have been sitting there for ages.

Katrin, I wasn't referring to you, and I agree she does tend to price things high.

Okay, Debi here. I have my own website and own almost all of the pieces on it. If anyone has any specific questions about any pieces I will answer them directly. I only have one website relating to L'Imagerie artwork though and no one is set up to sell products on my behalf. Debi
