I will be making the trip out to LA for this one. I have never worked with PRISM, will they have a preview? Is there anyone in particular that I should speak with before I make my travel plans?

the flyer image is a little.......not quite sure what to think. hopefully the show will be in the same spirit as the recent Fermata exhibition. I find it a bit odd how this just popped up out of nowhere. it makes me wonder if it will be a full on show or just a few pieces. Prism definitely doesn't seem to stress the marketing aspect of things, but I suppose it is not needed in certain cases. in any event, I will be very interested and excited to see what our friends from Brazil bring to the table.

interesting. maybe the show will be all small portrait style pieces? this would make sense with the recent effort that was put out to put on Fermata, but if this is really the case, I would prefer no show as opposed to a bunch of small pieces. just my 0.02

I understand that there will be large canvases at $200,000 a pop so I'm sure these small pieces will be grossly over-priced as well!

they do what they do.... for them it's a departure into smaller works...(yeah not forgetting ak's comment ... earlier.... cough cough..) ..smaller alas .... makes it more personal - less dram i'm sure but for those who are lucky the impact of their living space... will be the same.
ray of light.

Press release says - "exhibition of new paintings and sculptures within an immersive installation" so sounds like something similar to their museum shows hopefully.

Too bad I will be in Hawaii... Oh, that is too bad... I'll take your place in Hawaii if you like. Which island? Oahu. Going to be there for the POW WOW event. Haha, I guess I should be happy to be in Hawaii.

I've been following their instagram and I truly envy everyone whos gonna see this show in person.. not to mention anyone who'll get to own one of these beauties..
btw, I know its a long, funny shot, but if anyone gets some word on the preview for this show, I'd love to see it.. thanks!

My office is just a couple blocks away from PRISM... I'll be hitting this unless something unexpected comes up. I wish I could afford some goodness... but I think I may just be admiring from afar.
