You know, I never asked. What is all this smite/exalt stuff? if you are offended by what someone posts you can click on that smite thing and the members karma will decrease or if you like the post you can click the exalt and their karma can increase. I rarely use the feature, not since Robert Singletary was here. Yeah and what does OG stand for? Original graphic? yes

Yeah and what does OG stand for? Original graphic? It just means that it's the original piece of art, rather than a copy or derivative reproduction. It comes from Original Gangster, an old school gangster who is legit and committed to the life.

Ever since I joined this forum, I've wondered what OG meant. Over time I figured out from context that it must mean "original artwork." I'm neither as erudite nor hip as Commandax to ever have figured out the hip hop origins of its provenance. For that I had to give her an exalt!

in art terms though, OG means original graphic as niavejohn states. it originated in the realms of comic and poster art, as a classification for reproduction and original work. personally, i despise the term.

Although I have been tempted to remove the function many times, I have often wondered if somehow it is the reason why there seems to be less bickering or troll-like behavior here? Or perhaps the members here are just nicer people

Although I have been tempted to remove the function many times, I have often wondered if somehow it is the reason why there seems to be less bickering or troll-like behavior here? Or perhaps the members here are just nicer people The active members are just nicer here. My area community had a board with karma and it got so ugly anyway. The board members even used karma to cause trouble too. Not that negative karma meant too much but some of the jerks would gang up to smite someone repeatedly.
