Alright ladies and gentleman, just booked my flight from Arizona to Boston for the Os Gemeos ICA Exhibit.
This will be my first time to Boston, and am actually flying this one solo. If anyone has recommendations as to where to stay, what to do, etc. I would appreciate it.
It's an extremely quick trip, but am very happy to say that I will be in attendance, as it probably much cheaper than flying to Sao Paulo.

good luck to those who go !!
(gsoh required)
green is a popluar colour there.. as it an irish accent.
I've never been but hear it's a great city.
the boys certainly are being embraced by a lot of folks over there... next up the whitney nyc ?
(can't see them being ignored in 4 years when BR will take centre stage.. which is darn sight more than artists from the street in londres right now).

I'm not from there, but I was in Cambridge this past Sat and caught New Orleans' own Rebirth Brass Band at a great venue called The Middle East (downstairs). Totally made my weekend, anyhow. www.mideastclub.com/

Hey jB! I was looking online for info about the mural they are painting in downtown Boston TODAY and found your post (and this message board)... I live in Boston and will definitely be going to see the exhibit. I'm a member at the ICA and have a free guest pass if you want to save yourself some money...or the museum is free on Thursday nights. The ICA is on Boston harbor, close to lots of great places to eat and places to stay (although it is a pricey part of town). It's also not far (walking distance) to a lot of Boston touristy-type places like Quincy Market and Paul Revere's house if you're into history. Let me know what kind of info you're still looking for. If I get pictures of the Boston mural tonight, I'll send you the link.

Hey JB! I live about 20 minutes north of Boston and will be attending the show! I am going to most likely go on Thursday night because it's free. I don't know how long your trip is but there are a few things you should do. One. go to the North end and have a pepperoni pizza from Regina Pizzeria. It's life changing. 2.Find out where my buddy's food truck is whatever day you are in town getting lunch and eat some of his grilled cheese sandwiches. it's called Roxy's Grilled Cheese, (they have a facebook/twitter page thing) I recommend the Green Muenster. As far as touristy things Fenway Park, Harvard square in Cambridge and the greenway are all pretty inexpensive fun things to do to kill time. Good Luck!

While in Boston, don't miss spending some time reflecting on city hall. I know it's not popular with many that have to see it every day, but Boston city hall is one of the finest examples of le Corbusier-style Brutalist architecture of the 1950's-1970's. Due to many negative connotations(and many thinking its just outright ugly), many Brutalist gems are currently threatened and may not survive the next round of community redevelopment.

I'll be sure of that Mose. Thank you!
