just curious - but, do you actually use that fireplace? seems dangerous - I mean to say...dangerous to the well being of the artwork above and around it....\\
beautiful space you've got there though...and fantastic frame on that Ryden!

Thanks! No, never used the fireplace during the whole time I had it hanging there. Maybe, three years all together. I was paranoid everyday it hung that it would come down somehow onto the wrought iron fireplace screen (that's pointed on top). Never gets too cold here in So Cal, but there are the occasional earth quakes & aftershocks to worry about. Talking about the frame on it. I spoke briefly with the guy who does Ryden's carved frames while I was checking out the Tree show reception. He told me that he got Ryden to do the carved frames for the Canvas Sputnik because the project seemed to hard to get down. I know in was done in Thailand or something and took several years to complete.
