Hi guys, I think I will bid at Paddle 8 and I was wondering if someone already used this auction site. Is it the same as Ebay like if you want to win you need to bid at the last second? I just want to know if I need to be home when the auction will end.

I may be wrong, but I don't think you can win an auction on Paddle8 as they're all charity auctions that are then auctioned for real after the Paddle8 auction finishes. Basically all you're doing is placing an absentee bit. Pretty pointless.

Is it true? Oh!That's really disappointing. Thanks Afroken.

That isn't always the case. They have some auctions that don't have an offline component. Like right now, the Iron To Gold/Ashes To Hope auction looks to be only online. Also, they have been having non-charity auctions as well. I think their next one launches on the 23rd.

Like a few of the items in the Iron/Gold auction, but the auction ends at like 7AM PST, sort of odd for a West Coast event fundraiser, sigh.
