yeah, know what you mean charity. i totally respect his work - hwe has amzing talent, but the subject matter is a little too dark to be on the walls of a family home!!

I think the harsh on the eyes ones here, are the ones I took at the show. I tried to get them a little sharper, and not so blurry, but I was having problems with a used lens I bought.
last time I do that.

I never get tired of looking at Hussars work. I love the one you posted Masao626! I haven't seen it before. All the pearls on her head, they are beautifully done, it's like they are so detailed without all the detail, if that makes any sence. It's that suggestion of detail that is amazing to me.

My favorite artist of all time. I'm considering buying an AP of Daddy's Girl, through his manager Frankie.

A new print came out today. Anyone got any clues what or where?? Yep, i ordered mine. It's Cherry Pie, and it's available at birdbath publishing. It may only be available as a presale to "patrons" of Michael's work. If you have trouble accessing it let me know, and i'll get you in contact with his manager Frankie.

If any of you all are in the LA area, you should definitely go to the restaurant Equator Cafe. Great food and as an added bonus Mr. Hussar's work is on display there. Several famous pieces including the one in number seven of Masso's first post. It is in Pasadena right next to where the Mendenhall gallery used to be.
