I'd like to share some of the piece I've been working on over the Easter holidays. I find the whole process of making the pieces incredibly relaxing as the focus it provides shuts out anything else I might by thinking about. Hope you like and any feedback more than welcome, good or bad!

With pleasure. On visiting a spot near me that is used by local graf writers I noticed lots of discarded paint fragments on the floor (when graf artists work on the walls they scrape away what is there previously to smooth the wall down and prepare it for new work). I picked up some of these layered acrylic paint fragments and could see something really interesting. By sculpting the pieces, breaking them down, re-working them you can re-invent a multitude of graf pieces that had been built up over time. I've been working / developing this for the last year, and keep noticing new ways of refining and changing how I use the pieces. I find the whole question of reusing graffiti fascinating - taking something that owes its roots to unpermissioned work (considered illegal and a blight by many) and presenting it's waste as a totally new acceptable form is an interesting idea.
