Perhaps a disclaimer at the bottom of each post? That might not be a bad idea. Being impartial and unfamiliar with the OG artist's name (Kuksi), that's who I thought it was having seen some of his stuff in Juxtapoz.

I don't know. IMHO, the guy is a liar and a hack. He appropriates to the point where I have Zero interest in his un-original work plus he tries to sue people for appropriating his "Work" which is the same fucking thing he does! Hypocrite. I don't see the hype....

Thanks for posting that. I didn't know. No prob. The San Jose show was F'@#%'n awesome and I was told this show should be his stuff that is a little more edgy than the San Jose retrospective. I hope the Ape sculpture is at Otis, it was something to behold. Heres a pic I snuck from the show:

My first caricature. Inspired by a phone call with the father of Lowbrow/Conceptual Realism, Robert Williams. I was going for the old MAD Jack Davis feel. Ink on paper, color in Photoshop.

Robt. Williams is still the master. His older "Super cartoons" still blow anything away today IMHO, except for Schorr's Kong painting maybe. Your talking multiple layers of varnish and hand made paints here people. His new stuff is still very technical, just a lot more tame.
