Thinking, 'I won't buy that piece today, I'll just call them tomorrow' is a tactic which will always lead to disappointment.

I am wishing I had an endless bank account to scoop up a lot of the work available.

I am thinking I am super super close to having my Sorren paid off, and was even more amazed at my will power of the recent Mark brown show to pass on works to pay to Mr. Sorren

Just sent a check for a ridiculous amount (more than I ever paid for a piece) for just half of an incredible commission...kinda nervous since this is our first one but happy since the process has been great.
As soon as I feel comfortable and with the artist permission I will post part of the sketch...

Very excited for securing my first Yoskay OG, and trying to work hard to secure my first Candice Tripp and Chris Berens OG later in the year. Still proud of maintaining significant savings and the only toys I am collecting now is Ashley Wood.

Today is the deadline for my Mark brown comm. I am hoping the gallery will reply to my emails as they swore today was delivery but have heard nothing from them, hopefully I will at least see it as it has been since October ( i think ) since it was paid off

Not sure how long he's been around, but I was exposed to his work just this year, one of my favorite artists for '09.

I am thinking it is going to be a long week waiting for both my Joe Sorren work and Mark Brown both of which most likely will not arrive until next week.

I'm thinking Robert Bauder reminds me of a young Michael Hussar. Commission in the works! Love the 2nd and 3rd down but that 4th one is waaaay too Hussar!

Yeh the 4th one looks like he was just a little too influence by Hussar's "Flown" piece.

It would cost you 350 bucks ......
many local libraries will do it for free just contact them....If they get all 29 pieces that is an easy 10 grand for the gallery, plus 40% of any work sold...
Pay for play is so .......

So I have to shell out 350 to be told I am not good enough to be in the show very interesting

artists are a desparate lot. I suspect there will be some applicants. never pay to be exhibited in a gallery.
and who are the judges deciding what's "good enough" to be in the exhibition and what are their credentials?
