Why do I always lose a nights sleep when I hang a new piece of art?

Going over my 2010 "want list" and trying to figure out how I can pull this off (legally) Travis Louie Chris Berens Femke Hiemstra Martin Wittfooth Marion Peck I left out obvious fantasy pieces such as a Ryden, so this list is semi-realisitic. Although A Peck is more than likely stretching it.

Going over my 2010 "want list" and trying to figure out how I can pull this off (legally) Travis Louie Chris Berens Femke Hiemstra Martin Wittfooth Marion Peck . That's quite a list. There's no way I can pull that off legally:) I'm currently thinking of this painting that I'm working on, and Shawn Barber and Ryden shows this month. I've been looking forward to seeing those two shows.

I like to set lofty goals. Sometimes it works out. If it doesn't the end result is still hard to complain about.
I am also dying to see the Ryden show. Although I know it will make me sad since I'll never have one of those beauties in my home.

Agree. Color can be absolutely transformative. Probably why I have only one white wall in my entire house, and that's only because I'm planning to remodel the room. I don't think a lot of people recognize that.

Edi Rama the Mayor of Tirana has been doing this for years, but on old lifeless communist-era apartment buildings. Some are awful and some are really cool. Always noticeable. It is one of the things I most enjoyed about living there in that environment. Heres a few from a quick search www.flickr.com/search/?q=colorful%20tirana&w=14483308@N00

Thanks. I'll do that...eventually. I do have to mention that this is in addition to my already ridiculous list of "must haves". That last painting I saw, the one he did for a friend that was moving really pushed it over the top for me. That was absolutely stunning.

does everyone on here frame art including originals behind glass or just prints? does it depend on media used?

A buddy of mine closed his shop so Banksy could privately do some high-end denim shopping.
I was bummed he didn't buy the same brand I wear. I have no idea why.

Tomorrow night....Enjoy the eighties with Faile and Bast as they recreate one of my favorite show concepts from them the Arcade... Saturday night...the end of 2 era's Goodnight Dietch and Happy Graduation Shepard may the new ventures do well.
