I love Jonas Wood's style! Definitely one of my favourite new finds in the contemporary art world. His plant series is amazing!

Man those are large pieces. I am very drawn to his vision as an artist, but I wonder how size and composition are related given his style of painting. At any rate, Jonas is on my radar.

Pretty sure I read in an interview with him that size played a key role in a lot of his work. Particularly the paintings of everyday objects like the notepads. It was to make something small, and overlooked into the main focus. |
