Ericailcane a.k.a. Erica il Cane is an Italian street artist whose work is pretty difficult to summarize – but let's say it mashes up Victorian children's book illustration, macabre machine/animal contraptions, political satire and existential angst. Blu is one of his close friends and a frequent collaborator. That top piece is magnificent. I love the expression on the wee fellas face not to mention his determination to enjoy a balloon, despite his own balloon keeping handicap. Here's one of mine, from last year's fame. Untiltled on canvas, 100cms x 80cms:   There is an accompanying etching of a bee hanging above the bear. Took a few photos os some collabs with blu, will barras, dem and others in Bologna yesterday which I'll post later although I think I many already have posted some in the blu thread.. |

my handcoloured rabbit print from Fame / studiocromie turned up at the weekend. it's wonderful. i had to get one after i saw that video of him working in the darkend room directly on the screen to make the image.

Sven, its about 42x22cm. Theres another collab from them on the reverse, i havent got round to getting it out the frame to check it out yet.....

I am trying to get a collab sorted between the 3 of them tho, would literally be the best thing ever in my eyes..... I picked up a lovely escif drawing from his show with San at UP, havent got round to framing it yet tho..... |
