Thought I'd share a couple of more pieces. One I previously posted in the Contemporary Art section for Chloe Early but thought I'd throw it under the collection section too: Chloe Early Charcoal A new Titi Freak piece from his current show at Choque Cultural [which I suspect is not to everyone's liking, but I've been wanting one of his fish pieces for sometime]

Thanks Svenman, I didn't realize she had a show coming up. I'll have to check that out. Here's a bit of blast from the pop art past - I saw that Ronnie Cutrone and some other artists have a show opening tonight at Anonymous Gallery in New York called "Subculture Capital" so I thought I'd post a photo of a Cutrone piece I got many years ago (sorry about the photo quality):

I also have the "Escape from New York" serigraph but yours looks like it's been enhanced/over painted by Cutrone. (still have the original fold-out brochures from Robert Bane) Also have Cutrone's "No Glove No Love" & "Reigning Cats".

So it sounds like you've been collecting for awhile Virtu. I met Ronnie at the gallery and he added the embellishments to the piece while I watched - think it adds a nice touch.

Great piece by Titi Freak. He's new to me. I did a quick search of his work and really enjoy it. But I couldn't find price listings for any of his work. What price range does his work sell for?

Hey bspear, at his last show the prices ranged from $1,200 to as much as $12,000. If you're interested in his work, you may want to check out Choque Cultural [http://www.choquecultural.com.br/] or Jonathan Levine Gallery [ www.jonathanlevinegallery.com/]. Cheers.

Have a few other prints that I haven't gotten around to posting photos of just yet. Here's rather poor photo of my Banksy Sepia Morons (please excuse the reflections):

Here's a little something we commissioned from Jacub Gagnon to commemorate the birth of our daughter (which will be any day now). It's called "A Truce Between Kings" - the little bird inside the diving helmet is a King Fisher Bird if that helps make some sense of it ; )

I love that Herakut - definately one of my favourites and I think that Swoon is the best of her work that i've seen. Normally i think her work is better suited to the streets but that looks great.
Some other great pieces there too.

Haven't posted anything for some time so I thought I'd share a few pieces I've picked up for my 4-year old daughter - my wife and I have been buying her one original art pieces per year beginning with a piece we had commissioned just before she was born. That's a really nice idea - i'd recently bought a couple of large Oliver Jeffers sketches for the same reason (they're just pages from a flip chart of a talk he gave about his books rather than any of the great fine art stuff he does).

Cool idea. Good way to get kids into art early. I also heard someone who commissioned someone to paint a portrait of their child every year as well which also sounded cool.
