i think his current show at fifty24sf is supposed to be based off images in his newly released book.
alot of the pieces being made for his next show are based off of sketches he made while at a club. creep machine did a little interview with him... maybe he remembers it more than me

I liked the work he had in his studio a bit more than those in the show. |

yeah. pretty weak that those weren't part of the show. if anyone's interested, i think you can buy a piece of wood with some triangles for $400 at the current show

i picked up the latest issue of Nylon Guys for research when designing a logomark and i was pleasantly surprised to find a nice page on Lister. It was a good read, if you are near a news stand or bookstore take a few minutes and give it a read.

Wow. Posted on Brooklynite news section. I wonder what Lister's side of the story is...
Citing that, "his next New York show needs to be a solo",
Anthony Lister has decided to back out of his scheduled
2 person exhibition with UK legend SICKBOY. The exhibition
which was titled, "THE GUILT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING"
was slated for May 16 here at Brooklynite Gallery.
With less than a month until the scheduled opening, SICKBOY
has opted to not rush to complete enough work for a solo
exhibition. In which case this show has been POSTPONED.
WE sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused
some of you that had already made travel arrangements.

I know he has NYC reresentation that goes waaaaay back at Lyons Weir Ortt. Not sure if they have something to do with it. If I were Lister I dont think I would have shown at Broklynite either. Bcking out of a commitment is another story altogether though.
