omg good stuff hey why dn't u post ur collection in the collectoin thread! Most of my stuff is in portfolios. Remember, we have similar living conditions. rhinomilk - I'm at the point where my various prints outnumber my OGs by 3:1, 17 OGs and 60 prints or so. It's sick because there is no way I'd ever frame all of them or even have enough room to put them all up. I didn't even realize what the "count" was until I was looking at everything last night to plan on raising funds in case I did win something. I like the philosophy that Hung shared with me about 9 months ago. Do your damndest to get a couple of defining original pieces from each of the artists you love. It'll keep your collection focused and managable in size.

Oh no, I won the Stories of Love in Key Food as well. Dammit... I thought I will be happy with the Bad Seed. Now I have to make a decision between the 2.
Was hoping for a Heartbreak or Seduction in red though.

Where'd you hear this from? I haven't even seen an invoice come through yet. And damn... you're quick with the sales! I'm still trying to figure out what to unload. It's going to be a truckload of stuff.

sounds like alot of people entered in the lottery only to try working out a flip before they pay... should be interesting to see what happens to this loophole not sure what's going to happen if they send me an email saying i got one if someone passes since i already spent my money on something else

Not ugly? Dude, she's smoking hot. I love that picture of her in heels working on a piece with one hand and a cig in the other.

Anyone receive the invoice yet from Faile? No, they're still trying to sort out the folks who won multiple pieces. I got an e-mail from Matt earlier this afternoon notifying me I won another piece (Faile Dreams in Brown) asking which one I wanted. Also, it's the 4th of July today so I'm sure he took off early. Invoices sometime this weekend or on Monday.

im not familar with how the drawing works... i thought it was hard to score a piece but with ppl winning multiple pieces it sounds so easy... hmm It depends on a few factors: 1) How many people enter the lotto 2) How many are being released When the "drawing occurs" everyone is assigned a number and a random number generator is used to pick the winners. Obviously, originals are "1-offs" and the prints are usually small runs. For example Faile Dreams in Brown is the 1st Edition of 16 (1/3 Editions of 16). So 16 winners chosen from whatever pool of people entered.

Is the Raving Mad a print similar to the OG they had for silent auction at the most recent Santa's Ghetto? I remember seeing a thread on the Banksy board, but couldn't find it. Nevertheless, this piece is hot. I think I'm going to have to hunt one down.

wow, didn't realize that piece was so big. Very big 193 x 105 inches. But I do think I recognise the lady on the left who is also very petite.
