Ridiculous, right? I wasn't there, but from what i've been reading, what's even more ridiculous is what went down at POW, in regards to people lining up. Eastern european gangsters, mobs of people in cars driving up and jumping out, security guards with the "golden tickets" who didn't recognize anyone who waited in the line, instead giving the tickets to the thugs who ran up to them. Everyone is saying it was "carnage".

Oh my! From what i have read on the Banksy forum it was nothing less than a mess. Quite a fiasco I must say. Those eastern thugs must be horrid to say the least (all this pushing in line and so forth, absolutely frightening). Mr. Banksy, if you read this, please try and keep your future print releases more civil. Pardon me now but I simply must be carrying on. Thank you. P.S. Please send me 1 of each colour way toot sweet. just PM me, I'll paypal you, thanks.

^^^^ This got me thinking about art in today's culture and the immediacy of it. I know it shows that clearly there is an economic gain that has interested people into Banksy's work purely for the flip factor. So I was wondering since I feel the majority of us on this board lean more towards the art enthusiast more so than those who are looking for investment/financial gain (not saying it has no effect on our purchases but it's not the driving force as to why we talk about and critique art) think about the following questions.
Did you put in a request for yourself? Do you like the image? Did you put in a request to better someone else's chances? Did you put in a request in order to get art that you may like more/trade? Did you not put in a request since you are not a fan of this work or Banksy?
I myself love this image but more the nod to KH, and my interpretation of what story is being told. I only put in for myself and have let chance run its course, feeling a bit like Charlie from the Chocolate factory. We'll see what happens and best of luck for all those trying, for whatever reasons. Just wondering what others think in light of the chaos surrounding all this "its just paper and ink" (both the print and the money)

If anyone finds themselves with the opportunity, but not the means to buy a print from the lottery, please drop me a line to see if we can work something out. I registered my email address, but don't hold much hope due to demand. I'd really like to get one of this edition.

I also dont hold out to much, I did put the lottery for myself, I do like the image and would most likely keep it. I have been offered a gold edtion which was told was for friends and family but price was high on it. So if I cant get the lottery I cant get it at all. good luck to everyone, also is the lottery over

Did you put in a request for yourself? Yes
Do you like the image? A little. Enough to hang it in my house for a 6mo - 1 year and then sell...
Did you put in a request to better someone else's chances? No, but I did put in multiple requests for every person on my family to better my chances.
Did you put in a request in order to get art that you may like more/trade? Yes
Did you not put in a request since you are not a fan of this work or Banksy? I do enjoy Banksy, but not enough where I wouldn't flip a print on evilbay and make some money to buy original art from a less expensive artist.

Personally, i would've liked to score this print in order to put some money down on a Berens.
