Better image of the print. Would be impressive if the drips were actually screen in some believable way into the actual print. But I presume this is still merely a test run. All four of the canvases were great too. Taken from Street Art News.

Does banksy not sign his canvases? He used to stencil his name on the side of most editioned canvases, like so.. And in all cases I've seen, the backs are clearly signed and numbered where necessary. Not all artists sign the front of their original works. I have a few pieces that aren't.

I don't see the side of the canvas. Maybe I'm blind.
Oh, now I see it, it's so dark it's barely visible...

I used to own a small canvas from the edition of 2 that I bought from the first Santa's Ghetto that was tagged on the side but not signed or numbered at all. I think he started doing that when he realised the value of a signature. Most of the work I own now by important artists, like McGee and Rojas, isn't signed. It really isn't a big deal.

The word is out on Banksy's next print: This print is immense. I absolutely love it.

that's interesting that those two heavy weaponry pieces are opposite way around...
anyway, the new print i like quite a lot. had heard that that was going to be the print image a little while ago, and thought it would work well. for me, it's the strongest banksy print since nola. stands up well on it's own as an image.
i really hope i can get one of these, but i'll be fucked if i'm going to queue outside for one. we have 2 inches of snow, and it's minus five right now.

Loving that O% Interest canvas. Very strong piece. Works much better with the little kid instead of the old man. Boring and the 3D Rat as amazing as well. Banksy is on his game!!!

I'm still happy I didn't queue for No Ball Games , it was so cold that night and I went past POW in a cab and was much happier where I was . Totally agree on the nola statement too.

as in... hit F5 on the POW site? I thought POW only releases his prints via lottery nowadays. Looks like photos of various colorways have surfaced.

looks like 5 different colors, I'm thinking maybe 100 of each for a total of 500. POW has been sending out emails every other day for the last week or so to announce a new print release (odd# days). I'm hoping for tomorrow the 11th.

If 5 colors I think edition of 200 each = 1000 in total

didn't pow already state the edition size in the catalogue at 450? i must admit i've not been following this too closely, as there is nothing to follow as such just yet, just a bunch of whiny idiots with a huge sense of automatic entitlement on one of the other forums.... a banksy release really does seem to bring out the very worst elements of the art scene.

yer my bad, 450 has been stated. I guess the other versions may be the artist proofs. I was just hoping for 1000 so I had half a chance of traveling 300 miles and bagging one

Really sad to hear that things are way out of control in the "que" outside of POW. Reports of bloody fights, about 100 people cutting in line, and a couple of huge "eastern european bullies" making their way to the front of the line. POW didn't hand out tickets like the NBG release, nor is security there. It's pandamonium out there. Can't tell you how bummed and pissed off i'd be if i was waiting in line, in the freezing cold, only to have some douchebags cut in front of me.
