thanks jlg and svenman.
glad you like the dzama. my wife bought it for me, so it has extra special significance. and yes, the espo is on metal. it's 2' x 2' and is included at the end of the first and fifteenth book.

Like your Swoon Subway Window -- always thought it'd be nice to get the whole series of them. Nice collection!

Like the Sashie piece!
For clarity sake, is Sashie really his first name? When you google him and according to his website, it's Masakatsu Sashie. I've been perplexed ever since I first noticed you had the two inverted on your website a while back, as it contradicted my understanding of it and all the other listings out there. Do you have it listed as such due to the surname sometimes - or typically (I believe, at least) - coming first in some Asian cultures? Or is this the way you understand his name to be?

To be honest, I'm not sure. It's typical of Japanese artists. For example, sometimes you see Nara Yoshitomo and others Yoshitomo Nara. One is the Japanese order and the other the Western. But if you don't know which is which...
It does seem that his name is more commonly Masakatsu Sashie.

I'm told by my wife (who happens to be Japanese) that Masakatsu would be his first name. She's never heard of Sashie as a last name -- apparently it means illustration or something along those lines.

Finally... Elvis has entered the building. Welcome! welcome! I would say nice collection... but wait till you see what he's holding back.
BTW... at the rate Sashie is building steam... it won't matter if that's his first name or last.
Much like Takashi and Yoshitomo... whom most affectionately know as Murakami + Nara.

thanks tessar. i do my best to follow my own eye, and i am really proud of the collection i've been able to put together.
i wish my zhang xiaogangs were originals, but they are prints. beautiful nonetheless.
