thanks! i got in way early on a few things, i was very tenacious and very, very lucky! i've got a cash cap which is why aud, soto, etc. are pretty much lost to me...i'll live though ;D

i think it's great that you haven't spent over 2700 on one piece given how awesome your collection is. nice job! Agreed! I would have thought Charity would have spent WELL more than that on SEVERAL of her pieces!

$3100 for the mars-1 (it was $2800 + $300 shipping and it was the worst shipping job I've ever seen... DHL ended up repacking it and slapping "repacked by DHL" stickers all over the place... it wasn't even in a box)
before that it was $1200 for the second JLed, and only because it was one of my favorite pieces of his ever
(and before that I had a cap of no more than $1K per piece, which is now totally out the window)

Sadly I have never went over 1600 and that was for a Sorren pencil, yet somehow my collection is appraised at well over that thanks to LEBO pieces which were gifts

Value yes over 1600, but I still have not paid more than 1600 for a piece, the Sorren still takes the high price paid.

I don't even like to think of it....instead i just look at my walls and realize that i've got several money market accounts hanging on the walls It's much nicer to look at beautiful art hanging on the wall as opposed to a bank statement coming in the mail. I just hope they keep going up in value! ;D
