Some new paintings on flickr that i haven't seen before. I like the big guy hehe. By the way, who is this Matt Leines guy? His stuff kinda looks like Andy Kehoe's. Who came first?

Andy has posted the two pieces that he will have in this weekend's "Everything in Together" G1988SF show. The first is "Carrier of Secrets and Mysteries." I really like this one... The creature's semi-human, semi-masklike face reminds me a bit of the Deer God in Princess Mononoke... though the faces are actually quite different, they feel related. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, check it out here: i29.tinypic.com/2vs3v9w.jpg)The second is kind of a sequel to the painting at the top of this thread, "Passing Away Into Unseen Worlds." (The original of which, by the way, is still available at Thinkspace.) This one is called "Revival in the Eyes of the Unseen."

I think his work is so much fun, it cracks me up. It has gotten a great response from the public as well. Hopefully we will work together next year. Check him out in the Dreamscapes exhibit at Definition Gallery in Baltimore, Md. Peace, Definition Gallery Daniel Fountain, owner www.definitiongallery.com
