waking remains of a strange old port-town after seeing svenmans post in the show/events section about the wood show at together gallery and somehow got attracted to the nas chompas piece right away, i thought he deserves a thread. one additional reason is that a discussion about the look alike of chompas, adam flores and andrew schoultz developed artchival.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=showsevents&action=display&thread=2480. maybe we can move it here, that's what i replied: i really like the chompas piece. i actually considering to buy it... i have to admit that i was and am still not completely familiar with adam flores and andrew schoultz. however i googled them and would like to ask you to be more specific on the likeness of chompas vs flores & schoultz. are you judging based on this single piece? or maybe only particular to this single piece? i can see your concerns, but only because all 3 painted wooden houses you call it alike? especially if you take a look at chompas other paintings i don't really see the "intentional" exact copy: you find more here: www.flickr.com/photos/jamsandwich/sets/72157606978612503/adam flores: andrew schoultz:
