Amazing Collection
My favorite is the Jeremy Geddes piece, all of the Yoskay's are great.
Also, the ultra minimal Kawaski's are great: "Nagisa" is my favorite, as well as the Karuki Sisters.
You must have quite a place to house all of these.

One of the top three collections on this board with a bullet. Very nice. I know everybody else is loving the Kawasaki's , me included, but I'm really liking your Esao piece "Blue Fairy". It just reminded me of that scene in the movie A.I. where Haley Joel Osment is underwater staring at the "Blue Fairy" and asking her over and over again to turn him into a real boy. I love that scene , it's so sad, The movie is great too for anybody that hasn't seen it. I'm going to have to watch that tonight now.

Stunning (not just your collection but the ruthless focus and determination in which you buy art. you were paying high prices for Audreys long before they were that high but makes you look real smart now). You know how i feel about your Audreys but i really like your Geddes piece.

You could already open up an Audrey museum with all the pieces! Amazing collection. I also love the Lori Earley piece.

So no one likes the GI Joe prelim, then...? :-p Seriously, though...thanks for all of the kind comments! It's been a lot of fun building the collection, and I'm glad to finally share it with you all. Marcus: Most of the Audreys are in the living room, with a few others scattered here and there. Mute: Thanks! I adore the Blue Fairy painting. I really enjoy Esao's work, but haven't bought anything else as I still haven't found one I like as much as Blue Fairy (although I did come close to buying the girl with the hot air balloon for a head. In retrospect, I probably should have pulled the trigger on that one). Hung: To be honest, I also thought I might have been crazy to be paying those prices for Audreys a year ago. I know Caroline thought I was positively nuts, too. I'm so relieved to know I don't need a straitjacket just yet. ;-) Mattlock: They are ok, I guess. ;-) Actually, Audrey and James Jean are my two favorites. Yoskay is definitely up there, too...and I'd love a nice Josh Keyes animal piece, but I'm not holding my breath. Here are a few more photos of the Audreys. I thought it might be fun to take a "family portrait", so I got them all together in one room (just like really family reunions, this was not easy to do), and took a few pics. One of them is no longer with us, and a few of the smaller ones are MIA...but you get the idea. Sorry the pics aren't as clear as I would like.

Good grief. The Audrey's were accumulated recently? I can see why these were pursued relentlessly. They are lovely! It's nice to see her earlier work mixed in with the new.

Thanks! Yes, I was a bit late discovering Audrey. Actually, just discovered this whole art scene about a year ago...and instantly fell in love with Amy Sol, then Audrey. Spent the last year scouring the Earth for her work. Wish I had discovered her sooner. I don't think I'll be able to afford her much longer.
