NOTE:
He and all his friends would urinate on specially prepared canvas for weeks
or even months at a time. After a lot of labor-intensive effort the urine would
oxidize the paint and leave interesting images. Warhol loved this process-type
of art that leaned toward conceptual-minimalism. For me, I love his art because
he's a great colorist and was able to latch on to powerful ideas. A lesser artist
would have laughed and dismissed most of the original ideas Warhol followed
up on........( and changed art as we know it ). I still miss him and wish he was
alive to mix things up !!

Here are pics from "Camouflage" show from Honor Fraser. He seems so ahead of his time as this kinda thing has been re-created ad nauseum by brands like Bape. I wonder how secret these works were or if people were biting off him?

This is one of the finest oxidation works I've seen in a long time.
Warhol & friends would deposit urine on the special paint and
let it ferment for months. Gradually, the oxidation would evolve
and the final image would appear. This work came out great !
