Thanks sketchv. $2500...ouch. I bet they are nice but too much for me to spend on a print. I'll just suffer with the Wms. I already have. Edit: On second thought, it's only an edition of 25 (i think I saw that), it's nice and big, and it's a fantastic image. pics of your williamses please!!

It was the first painting I ever bought (way back when). Some one on the "waiting list" passed up and offered it to me for a small profit. I put them on hold, drove to NYC for the opening and was blown away. I'll never forget , I asked gallery owner if there where any paintings for sale and he said "these are for very affluent people, you can buy a poster". I kept my mouth shut and smiled inside.

how much for one of the smaller bronzes i saw at northridge? I was asking about those as well. The really nice owner of Gentle Giant (can't remember his name) put me in touch with Shifrazi and they quoted me 25 thousand.

I am currently trying to get my Zombie painting insured and looking for an apprasier... have you tried the gallery you bought it from? one person you can try is debi jacobson of limagire gallery, she deals directly with his work as far as i know. when you do get it insured please do let me know where you got it insured from, im looking for those that do as I have found that farmers does not insure Art. After those fires that happend around here and how much people lost due to not having their posessions insured, i got scared! as for the small bronze sculptures. WOW REALLY?!

I kept my mouth shut and smiled inside. lol i had the same thing happen to a friend of mine, well it was more for a ferrari than a work of art. he came in asking to test drive a ferrari f40, the dealer said if you do you have to put a $10,000 deposit on it first, he said it was ridiculous and he said well these are for those that can afford them, not amatures. He then said, (pulling out over $10,000) you just lost yourself a customer and left. and affluent people?! wow what a jerk! Im sure Mr. Williams himself will have a bunch of things to say about that if he heard it!

When you do tell her I (Panda) said hi I should stop by sometime as well whenver i get the chance. Shes my first stop for sure when i get a chance to get a Williams or a bigger Ryden etc. The framing she does is phenomenal work i got my rosies tea party print done by her as well as one of my own works.

Yeah Debbi is pretty cool. I have been getting prints, and pencils drawings of Williams stuff from her since the late 80's I think. I am not in to often though and she always remembers my name. I'll pass along the hello and thanks for the tip.

I defintly am hoping to get one of those in the very near future.
