This should be interesting. Mind you, the McGee they have pictured is the one from New Image Art's 15th Anniversary Show.

well, at least he had respect enough not to buy a ton of original art, flood it onto ebay, and open a toy store in hollywood. he just opened up a swanky looking gallery in high rent hollywood, so - let's not judge.

I think it's just the image at the time they made the flier as they've both been working on new pieces for this show. Phil has been down in Costa Mesa in RVCA's warehouse for past month almost I've heard working on new stuff. Barry's just a machine and always creating, so I'm sure he'll bring out some of his recuring props, but looking forward to a new batch of works from him as well hopefully.
The money comments are not negative, he obviously has funds, and there's nothing at all wrong with that. By no means implying they are in it for the money since they seem to be in it to elevate things which is awesome, thus the high end venue and the more museum like exhibition lengths. Seem to be in it for the right reasons which is refreshing. Anxious to see what their schedule will look like, as this can only help take the scene here in LA to another level, and that's good for all of us in the scene out here.

wow, a serious amount of work was put into this show. Some of the best cluster paintings yet. Lovin' the Phil Frost bats as well.

Went last night. Mindblowing. Frost killed it. The scale of his pieces were massive. A must see for everyone.

I was there at the preview too. both Barry and Phil did really awesome job!! these pics don't show what it is really like. this is the art show that you don't want to absolutely miss.
I don't know if you noticed or not,but found a few barry's signature hidden pieces here and there...
