Yes! I'm glad to see that I don't have to drive a few hours to a show for once. I'll be there opening night : )

The work for this upcoming show is Kelsey's best to date.
Those of you who are lucky to see it in person are in for such a treat. Someone please post pictures from the opening.

Preview is up and is amazing! Kelsey worked towards this show for 9 months and it really paid off. Amazing work and incredible installation photos. quintgallery.com/category/exhibitions

Thanks for posting Walrus! Great slideshow. Do you happen to know how well the work sold so far?

The work sold very well - i'd say 85% of it is gone - there are a couple of largest pieces still available - I believe from $8-10k - the little tiny circular pieces were $400/per - only one of them was unsold. The work was really strong - for even a few thousand a really nice piece could have been had - the gallery owner and I had a quick chat - said the opening was around 300-400 people - 2 bands - and a ton of red dots. I went today because I don't feel I can get a clear idea of what the work is all about when there are hundreds of distractions and precious little viewing space.

thanks sven - total amateur job on my part - the lettering reminded me of Soto's work a bit - I'm staying away more than I'd like but, I can't hang anymore - don't have the funds and that's heartbreaking when the works on display around these parts are so compelling.
