Bens work truly stole the show for me - the piece with the Polar Bear ushering in Winter as the Brown Bear dies or hopefully is hibernating until Vivisect is brought back to life - that was definitely THE piece of the show for me! His work truly shines - I mean literally! Take a look at this piece my buddy has with some morning sun shining in on this thing!!! Breathtaking!!!

Ben's been making these awesome multilayered plexi pieces for over a year now, and he's getting better and better. Of course, they are ten times better in person, as they're absoutely impossible to photograph. Here's the piece he gave us for the "Cry for Help" show at Thinkspace. It's called "Hunter Gatherer," and depicts a wheezing man surrounded by the passenger pigeon, the Xerces blue butterfly, and the golden toad – all species we drove extinct in this century. In destroying these species, man has unwittingly endangered himself, and now he suffers the consequences.
