I suppose it's only natural to start up the 2010 thread.
As for me, things will probably be low-key again in 2010. But I can dream though...
1) I have three commissions in mind that may or may not happen 2) Large Josh Keyes 3) Large Candice Tripp 4) A small Sashie globe would be nice 5) McGee bottle 6) Nara drawing

Nothing likely right now as I don't even have a job until after Christmas . It'd be real nice if somehow I manage . . .
1. Chet Zar (had one in particular in mind for a while need to check availability) .
2. Eric Fortune
3. A Nimit Malavia piece from the show in Feb .
4. Jason Hernandez pen piece of some kind .
5. Get my framing list cleared .

I had been thinking on the mcgee bottles but they seem so delicate how would you preserve and display something like that

2010 is going to be pretty complicated for me, so I need to resist the "urge" and "purge"... At least my interest in Vinyl toys has more focus... LOL.
But this a list of possibles in 2010...
-Tessar Lo/Nimit Malavia -Edwin Ushiro -Andy Kehoe -Jason Theilke
As for prints, the usual suspects... especially since I learned to frame them myself.

I had a bigger 2009 then anticipated, and got a lot check off my list at the expense of... well my expenses.
So 2010 I will try and keep it simple
1. Mark Bodnar 2. Daniel Elson (a larger painting then I already own) 3. Scott Radke (hopefully a fish or an octopus)
and if the budget allows and the stars align, people always on my radar: Candice Tripp, Erik Alos, Paul Chatem, Ana Bagayan, Brian Despain, Nathan Ota

Whatever aaron horkey releases. Possibly a chris ryniak painting or one off freyja would love to get a chris berens OG but that's way out of my league so maybe I can finally get his books.

Thanks Outerborough. I'm looking forward to the Liner show - Tat was a very exciting discover in 2009. You, me and Josh still need to have our best pizza in NYC showdown.

maybe a Rob Sato piece (although the asking price for the pieces at the GR museum show seem a bit high) and some of the pending Horkey letterpress prints (if they even come out next year). Haven't seen much that interests me in my pricerange lately.

I'm getting pretty focussed on obtaining a conor harrington canvas, preferably larger than my current one but it depends on the direction he takes this year as I don't want anything with the graphic text of recent works.
Plus I'll need to not spend the money on other things too. That will help.
Will be buying more ericailcane too.

I haven't had a good Horkey blowout in way too long . I need to sell some stuff and get on the search , I really want to get a Nesting in 2010 .
