I purchased a Thomas Doyle ( most recent posted one ) as a small stocking stuffer for my wife ( really for me I purchase her a piece of art each year ) anyway was suppose to arrive yesterday but FED EX FED UP and I had to go to fed ex and pick it up today, I was taking it out of the box to inspect before wrapping and it seems it is dead as you can see the lady is completely gone, and the rock has been freed from the base, the packaging on it was good so I am not sure how this happened. here is what it should look like, I have emailed the gallery but my fear is if they try to fix it it will never be what it originally was suppose to be. any thoughts so sad I was so looking forward to this living on my shelf

OMG Such a nice piece to be wasted! So sad, How would FEDEX and LBP fix the situation? So bad it happened to the piece.......Maybe Thomas Doyle could fix it up for you.......

Fed Ex is ridiculous. They BENT a print that was supposed to be a gift. And not "slightly bent", but rather F*CKIN' BENT-BENT.

I'm sure LBP will handle it correctly. It's so crazy how it was damaged, the lady is completely missing?!?!?! I've gotten prints bent by UPS, Fedex and the USPS, what's people's take on DHL?

I am not sure if she is located somewhere with in the bubble wrap, Ironic cause I let me wife open it prior to out XMAS festivities and as she was going through it opening the first box she said great is it a sculpture, and I laughed then she said with the way my day is going it will be broken and low and behold here it is. I have not looked very hard for the lady as I was so frustrated with the broken piece so 99 percent chance she is in the bubble wrap.

Sorry to hear this highbrow. I always worry about something like this happening. I'm sure it will be taken care of though.

We are on it. I have a feeling FedEx "Tossers" are probably rougher than normal over the holidays. Thomas actually packs these pieces to withstand major damage, but even with double boxed protection it seems this one get a little dinged up.
I suspect with a bit of TLC Mr. Doyle will be able to rescue this one.

LBP has gone above and beyond getting this handled, and I hope it is only some TLC to bring this back to life
