The Venus Over Manhattan show is excellent, all wave/surfing related images. The large pieces are on a very thick paper and the paint is also heavily applied. Hard to tell from the photo but you wouldn't be able to roll this paper. I wonder why he doesn't do these larger pieces on canvas.  |
