like the look of this image. hope this does signify a new direction. Agreed! That piece is actually from the Further group show here last month. It is still available from the gallery and actually hanging in my office. A bit odd as if we find a home for it before the Toronto show opens then the title piece wouldn't be in the show. But I know Mars well and he is probably working on a few pieces at the same time and all will come to completion at the final hours. Infinite Tapestry is definitely a new direction Mars is exploring, I also got to see the other black background piece when I was at his studio last month. Mars is always pushing himself to the next level and these new pieces are great examples of this! Infinite Tapestry Acrylic on wood 46 x 38 inches  |
