I suppose this show looks like it will be ok, if you're into that sort of thing I think I will forever look at his paintings thinking, I should have gotten one at Hang art in Oakland when I had there were plenty available, and before the idea of waiting lists or 1k prints. Oh well.

I wonder how long that waiting list is. When I wrote to the gallery they mentioned that it was pretty long, and that I might want to contact some of the other galleries he'll be showing at.

I'm hoping to get something good at OKOK. I can't possibly be high enough on the Josh Liner list.

Josh has added another painting from the show to his website: Sleepwalk I Shouldn't be too long before he posts all the images.

I like the natural predator/prey symbiosis theme of this one. Reminds me of fei lu's stuff, in terms of concept.

i sort of wish he hadn't listed all his shows all at once back then... figured my chances were slim, but hoped he was going to do more pieces. I got "Chasing Skirts"... would have liked one of the cut-outs, but i've been trying to save up for SDCC

when i asked, they said they'd post up the preview in the next few days and i'm pretty sure everything is being presold (at least that's what i got out of it)... then i said "what if i buy out the koralie show, can i get a piece?" and they said yes & then i hung up. j/k

wasn't exhale 1 in some group show at liner gallery last month? Yeah, I think you're right. Part of the inaugural group show.

are those prices fairly consistent with past shows? I thought they seemed fairly reasonable considering his demand.

are those prices fairly consistent with past shows? I thought they seemed fairly reasonable considering his demand. The 30" x 40" pieces went for $5500, which are consistent with past pricing. The 18" x 24" pieces went for 3k, which is a little bit of a bump in price from previous shows. Demand way out numbers supply. Don't think it's going to be long before a price jump happens. I think at this point picking up a Keyes is tougher than scoring Hannah Montana tix.

I guess I am surprised the bump hasn't already happened - given the ridiculous demand (not that I am promoting a bump)

Yes a price bump seems inevitable at some point. Smart of him to hold off for now... Must think for the long term in terms of his career. Sigh, some favorites.

i think i read on another forum (i forgot which one, might have been limited addiction) that he will have only slight price increases in '08... so i'm assuming sky's the limit for the levine show
