Thanks Rhino, We have an open space little house (620sf foot print) with 16' tall side walls and decided to "gallery hang" the whole place until its full. Candy Box style. We still have a bunch of prints and work on paper that need framing... its only money and time... so slowly slowly it will get filled up. Dusting is another thing! I also have a 400sf studio where I have a showroom of just my work and other curiosities.

Wow, what a treasure trove! Have to say I do like to see art hung salon style, but then all my stuff just gets banged up into the next available space (of which I don't have much.) Good to see an Erik Siador piece, I have a spooky mystical cat by him!

That Forney?? is really nice, any more info about the artist. Oh and what are the two pieces directly above the door next to the Sheldon piece. Looks like a pheasant or falcon? Obviously I like birds

I love Darrell Forneys work, he is a now deceased Sacramento artist. He painted a lot of crows (Sac is full of them) That piece is of mount Diablo over the Sacramento river. Let me see if I can locate any of his work for you….you might try listing a want add on Craigs list, or try Toyroom Gallery.com to see if they can find something for you in Sac. The small bird piece is by Heiko Muller (from Hamburg) www.heikomueller.de/The bird over the door is by my mother in law! New Zealand artist Judith Barnett. The bird is a Tui. She has not been painting long, but I think she is very good at what she does. Im sure she would be interested in commissions of New zealand Birds. I will put you in touch if interested.

Thanks Svenman, I loves me some art, thats for sure. I am lucky to have been involved with a great little local gallery that showed many great artists early in their careers... so got to support them early... and get some fantastic little art gems for my collection! I was also luck to be a member of Art Dorks collective, which included Travis Louie, Robert Hardgrave, Shawn Barber, Chris Ryniak, Dave Chung and 13 other really talented artists. We did some trades, and group shows with nicely priced work. Ill post the other rooms soon....cheers!
