"My first drawing ever of obama was from a photo, were he had all his teeth showing and I was using a black sharpie, so the end result looked like a racist caricature, it’s always been tricky for me to photograph and paint black people without it looking like a racist depiction, but black skin is my favorite skin to render, because there’s so many different undertones and reflections of millions of colors, when hype williams made the film belly he slicked dmx down with oil in a lot of scenes, and the reflections off the skin look amazing
so most of you reading this have seen the finished obama paintings i did, but i got a couple requests from you guys to see how those first early obama paintings turned out, so just because you asked nicely, here's my first crack at obama that never got used, never seen till now, and still my favorite."

Got an email from Dave that in addition to this "Exodus From Land of Play" print release, Andrew from Outer Edge Studio, will be releasing "Dark Circles" giclee print. It's the first print coming from a watercolor painting.
Also, he has a book out from Lazarides and a new wooden toy soon next month, too.
Guess he was trying to get everything out in time for holiday season!

Just keep checking outeredgestudio.com I think.
Andrew tends to vary his release methods I think. My memory is a little hazy with past releases but I'm pretty sure that a few times he just threw them up without advance notice, and a few times he seemed to advertise heavily, and on other occasions he'd just give a heads up on thegiant but nowhere else.

Awesome Drawing I really Like David Choe's stuff especially when he punches himself in the face and paints with his blood. That is crazy/tight
