Breathtaking.
The first Sam Falls piece is the pick for me and obviously the KAWS is the last word.
If the timing was right I would add that Todd James to my collection.

Thanks all. There are up to 10 months worth of purchases here (2 years for the Kaws) but everything has come together at the same time. The crate should arrive tomorrow. Happy days!

Beautiful Aurel Schmidt and KAWS. Congrats. What Aurel Schmidt? Well spotted. I removed that one as the transaction isn't complete and don't want to tempt fate. I'll repost it next week but yes, that's another grail that I've been after for a very long time so very pleased to have found one.

Looked classic though. Good luck.

afroken, your collection is outstanding. I love to see how it has progressed and taken shape over the past couple years as I look at this thread from beginning to end.

Thanks Swabie!
So I've had an interesting afternoon dealing with a 250 pound crate. We got it as far as my building's communal garage and I had to unpack it there. Somewhat ironically, my power drill's motor burnt out just as I removed the last screw from the crate. And getting the Lucien Smith to a first floor appartement on my own was interesting. But mission accomplished.
The Kaws is mind blowing. The colours, the line work, the scale of it. It's perfection.
A close second is the Sam Falls fruit piece. Seriously, the work has to be seen. Photographs do it no justice whatsoever. And it's absolutely beautifully framed.
The other Falls, the Brandt and the Lucien Smith are incredible too and on any other day they'd be some of the best work I've ever acquired, but today it's the Kaws and the Falls fruit piece that have me completely transfixed.
That Matsu is yet to come.

Congrats Afroken! Good to hear that everything made it to you safely. I was telling my wife last night how jealous I was that someone was receiving a Kaws tondo today.

Not the best photos, and I still have a few holes to fill and paint over, but phase 1 of the rehang is complete:

I never realized how big that mcginness was. What's the diameter on that and I assume you were able to get it repaired?
