Roq La Rue kicks off summer with a new show by two extraordinary painters.
Pop Surrealist elder statesman Glenn Barr takes over the gallery with his first major exhibition in several years, entitled "Small Epics". Barr creates a carnivalesque dystopia rendered in smoggy ochres and inky blues depicting mythical gods and goddesses recast in a bombastic, rock and roll glamour worthy of a post apocalyptic world.

Upcoming star Eric Fortune returns to the gallery with three new labor intensive paintings, including a two works on paper and one on canvas. His dreamy, slightly foggy paintings are equal parts exquisite beauty and dark, erotic subtext.
