i'd buy you one, but it's one per person.
call the gallery and see if they can hook it up.
someone on the keyes forum said just over 100 left. i've not got any email announcement from the gallery yet, and just happened to be browsing on here.

i had to grab one, such a beautiful image. It's going to look awesome in a thick white box frame edit-i was hesitant, but then i realized that my "The Call l" print is double the run, half the size, and selling north of $400. Makes sense to drop $370 for this monster/beauty.

No worries I should use my 400 dollars towards my Frizzell anyway, CONGRATS everyone on a great image

I talked to Josh about his use of props for his work, and he actually spends a lot of time on each of his painting trying to figure out the lines and shadows that he uses, along with the placement of everything. He was saying how Craola can just do it in his head, but he usually sets up a light and shines it down at the angle he wants and paints away. He also buys iStock images for reference. So the props are more used for shadows whereas iStock and other sources are used for the painting of the animals and other parts of his paintings. And then he has jars of dirt and grass that he uses for reference when painting that. Which by the way, his pavement, dirt and grass in person are amazing. Something you can't really appreciate on the scale a print provides. Very interesting, thanks thaler. I use an aggressive light source in my work as well and often have to set up props to get a better sense of how the shadows fall. Josh's props just looked pretty intense! And it doesn't surprise me that Simkins uses his mind's eye.

All gone! Wow, 350 prints sold out in a matter of a few hours... Demand must be going up for Josh, as this is one of his larger and more expensive print releases and he had no trouble selling it out! And of course there are already a couple creeping up on ebay... Ohhh flippers..........

I was not surprised this one moved out very fast, however framing something so large is gonna cost a pretty penny, when I framed incubant it cost me over 200

It'll sure look nice though, floated with a thick, box white frame.
