i agree that the rendering of the blocks is quite nice. the hand and the back-half of the bison seems a bit off to me. although i'll concede that it is probably very hard to paint a bison with a human hand that doesnt appear a bit off.
i appreciate the message that is being conveyed but i find it a bit heavy handed (pardon the pun) for my tastes. i think josh is at his best when he is a bit more subtle (at least more subtle than this) but i can see how this might have been a fun departure for him.

I'll be there and so will Rhinomilk. I think Kennas is flying over too. Not sure who else. I think we have some other members in the Bay Area as well. Hope to see some of you there. As well as the KMNDZ show that should be nearby as well.

It always looks so much better to see a photo of a piece versus the "scan" that is usually posted online. For those that were at the show, what did you think of the clear coat that put on these? Was the glare distracting? What is the advantage of doing this?

amazing that these drawings were sold for prices similar to, or even less than, those currently fetched by a few of his more sought after prints. those were a total steal! i hope at least a few ended up with board members.
