Wow - that looks magnificent. Simple; but presented to perfection by Josh. The detail is outstanding.

Roaming Woods With great antlers ending in hazelnut branches, this descendant of the Roosevelt elk (Cervus Canadensis Roosevelti) roams abandoned urban and outlying areas traveling primarily in small herds. They use their branched antlers to envelop and entwine abandoned structures such as cars, monuments, and street signs wrapping them in a shroud of vines and green leaves. Hazelnuts that fall from the antlers occasionally land on pockets of dirt and soil, and begin to germinate and grow into trees. Many areas that were once urban wastelands have been reclaimed and transformed by the Roaming Wood herds, and have grown into vast forest wilderness, providing a safe habitat for a variety of wildlife. www.antlerpdx.com/

there was a time long ago when I decided Id rather own 1 original than any number of prints. Perhaps this is your time.

I only wish that it was possible in this case but life doesn't seem to want to allow it. One day I will have a JK original on my wall. This piece would be my prized gem, most definitely. The work, detail, story and execution is almost too stunning to describe. Whomever lands this is quite lucky. I'm gonna go buy some lotto tickets now.

Such a good point, and this is true of any of the artists you may like to collect. I missed the boat on an original from Josh but that hasn't changed my mindset regarding collecting. 1 original > Any number of prints.

So far only seeing pieces here and there for group shows. It will be interesting to see what a full body of work will look like in his upcoming online show...

I too am looking to see what Josh has up his sleeve. As a new body of work from seeing the hexagonal pieces at the beginning of last year to his most recent non white sections it will be very interesting. I am looking forward to seeing the development and progression as we all know Josh pushes himself.

Looong time in the making... The Far Side of the World
Old OnesThe variety of animals and odd creatures I have created over the years began to ask where do we come from, what is our story? The endeavor of creating and exploring an inner world began to take shape in the pages of my sketchbook a few years ago, and what began as simple sketches has led to a vast imaginary landscape and epic narrative that unfolds into many directions. The Old Ones is the first installment in The Far Side of the World. This is a brief introduction to a few of the animals and beings that inhabit this world. Many have remained dormant in the land and forests and suddenly woke up or have come out of hiding. It may have been the gradual silencing of the human world or the change in the Earth’s climate that roused them from their deep slumber. One thing is clear, the world has changed… www.joshkeyes.net/gallery.htm
