whoops. guess there was a thread. wonder why it didn't come up with a search of "seonna"? no biggie. yah, it's a common problem. what you have to do is go to the bottom and change the search paremeters. it's default is like last 7 days haha

i like those 2 new pieces at levine a lot, but then i just got his one in the mail at the weekend... looks like from a similar theme of works she is making. mine is called 'just beneath the chords'. very very pleased with it. been a big fan of her work for years, but her newer work is really stunning.

it was indeed. its got a very high level of clear gloss over the piece which really makes the veneer trees stand out, and beautifully floated in a white frame... i'll get a picture up of it on the wall when i have time. did you see it in the +2 show, seeing as you are a local boy?

so that's what those are, chords... I asked Seonna about her relationship to music in an interview I have coming up... I thought you might like to read this, Sven. Music is a huge influence in my life. It provides the soundtrack for everything I do... intentional or not. I've developed sort of a "sense memory" with music, where I can associate a song or an album to a certain time in my life, to a certain person, to a certain heartbreak. It fills in that memory more than words on a page or a photograph can... it has a visceral impact.

did you see it in the +2 show, seeing as you are a local boy? no. unfortunately, i didn't get the chance to swing through the lower east side. i like these new pieces a lot more than the work Hong showed with sloan before.

Nice little piece from the recent THIS show. Was tempted to get this as a Valentine's gift but it was $1600 and only 6" x 6" and seemed kinda small for that price.

I like that. You should definitely buy it as valentines gift to your self sleepboy. Nothing wrong with some Onanism. Price sounds about right to me.
